| My interest in breeding Angora Rabbits began about 8 years ago. I became interested in hand-spinning, and was searching for a fiber producing animal that would fit into my small homestead lifestyle. I was origionally mainly interested in finding an animal to produce fiber for my own hand-spinning interests. But when I bought my first trio of French Angoras, my spinning interests went by the way-side;) I found that I was much happier devoting my time and energies into breeding and taking the best care possible of my rabbits than I was in spinning. I do still have an avid interest in fiber arts; hand spinning, dying, weaving, etc., but my rabbits take presidence over these other interests. |
